We hope this short biography will help inform you of the immense talents of this very gifted woman, who has achieved many important things in her life.

Born December 3, 1965
Nationality - East German (Born in East Germany)
Legacy - First woman to win consecutive Olympic gold medals (1984 and 1988) in singles figure skating since Sonja Henie in 1936
The Dancing On Ice 2012 Judge won four world titles (1984–85 and 1987–88) and also six European championships (1983–88).

At age 5 she began skating
She was snapped up by the Training Regime of the East German State who recognised her natural talents and determination.
She is a six-time European and four-time World Champion between 1983 and 1988.

Katarina has homes in both Berlin and New York
In January 2012 Katarina became a Judge on the British hit TV show Dancing On Ice
