Dancing On Ice 2012 new presenter Christine Bleakley fights back after taking over from Holly Willoughby
Dancing On Ice 2012 new host Christine Bleakley is hitting back at critics. The former co-presenter of Daybreak who was fired along with Adrian Chiles due to poor ratings and numerous complaints from the public has had to endure a lot of criticism over whether she is good enough to front the Dancing On Ice 2012 show. Her plight is made worse as she has some rather large shoes to fill as she replaces Holly Willoughby who has left the show to become the host of the new BBC spectacular called The Voice talent show which features singers performing in front of judges who choose them without seeing them first, and then go on to mentor the singers. Following the concerns regarding whether Christine is good enough to take over from Holly Willoughby, Christine Bleakley has said: "Phillip Schofield has been wonderful and very supportive of everything, so I am looking forward to getting started and meeting all the Dancing On Ice 2012 contestants."
She continued: “Out of Adrian Chiles and me I’m more the giggly one but both me and Phillip are like that so I think the chemistry will work.”

The ex TV Presenter of Breakfast TV said: “I’m not Christine Bleakley- booby, unfortunately, so I won’t be wearing the same kind of dresses Holly did, but I am looking forward to dressing up a bit more and feeling a bit more girlie.”
Christine Bleakley has a very busy year ahead for her besides her hosting of Dancing On Ice 2012. She is engaged to footballer Frank Lampard and will be making arrangements for the wedding. Frank Lampard has said he fully backs his wife's abilities to do a good job on the show. Christine Bleakley is also releasing a fitness DVD jointly with her sister Nicola who has made a drastic weight reduction following exercise and good eating habits with the help and support of her TV presenter sister.
The Dancing On Ice 2012 contestants for this year include Sugababes singer Heidi Range, singer Chesney Hawkes and Coronation Street star Andy Whyment
